Every piano has its own inharmonicity curve — the tendency of strings to vibrate in a way that diverges slightly from what theory predicts — which varies according to the age, size and condition of the instrument.
Using spectral analysis software, I measure the real inharmonicity of each string and define a custom tuning curve for that specific instrument. The result is a purer, more stable intonation over time.
